Federal COVID Vaccine Mandate
All rules and mandates listed below are a requirement from the federal government for any employee or employer that is funded by Medicare or Medicaid funding.HRA is following the guidance of the Federal and State Agencies and our Attorneys to provide advance notice regarding the requirement of Covid-19 Vaccinations for CDS Clients and Attendants. We understand that there are many unknowns regarding this guidance and we are making the best effort to ensure our attendants will be able to continue service to their clients. If you have additional questions, please reference this (Insert Website) for more information.
If you have been vaccinated, please provide proof of your vaccine status by uploading your vaccine verification card on the below form. When you turn in your vaccination card you will be placed in a drawing for a $50 Amazon Gift Card!!

A Note from HRA regarding the mandate:
This is a formal notification that the federal government has mandated that all attendant care employees that serve Medicaid clients must be vaccinated for COVID-19 by January 4, 2022 or risk a federal hold on pay. This mandate is currently “on hold” in the federal courts and the state legislature.
While vaccines are not currently being mandated, Helping Restore Ability strongly encourages all clients and attendants to get fully vaccinated as soon as possible. HRA is constantly monitoring the current court cases and the block in the Federal courts. We understand that there are many unknowns regarding this guidance, and we are making the best effort to ensure our attendants will be able to continue service to their clients without interruption. If you have additional questions, please reference this https://www.saferfederalworkforce.gov/faq/vaccinations/ for more information.
If your attendant(s) is already vaccinated, please upload their vaccination card at www.hratexas.org/covid-vaccine so that it is on file should the court cases be overturned. The court cases will likely continue past January 4, 2022; however, if it does not, then we may be required to comply with the mandate as it is currently written for January 4, 2022. As soon as more information is available or a ruling is made, HRA will send out further notifications.
